I haven’t posted anything here in a while. I will hopefully be more active here when I start school in September.  I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design for Animation. If you would like to see my recent art since the last post here, you can go to my deviantArt page (in the like sections).

I do have a recent sketch to share,  although it was created after a very sad and unfortunate event.

I drew this after my parents brought home a dead cat that they witnessed get killed by a car Wednesday night.  They didn’t want to leave it in the street and they wanted to find out if it had a chip, so if it did the owner could be notified.  I was overwhelmed with sadness at the sight of the poor thing.  It has made me realize how much I cherish my own cats.

It wasn’t my intention to bum anyone out with this, I just thought it needed some explanation.

One of the hardest things to depict in art for me is death, without an outward sign of it. I consider this a rough work even though it bares my watermark.
