An early birthday gift to myself and an image I will be using for my website Pyrocat Productions. It is a transparent PNG. The first artwork of Dekeve in her anthropomorphic form. I actually have that shirt and belt. There will be a watermarked and unwatermarked version when my site is published on the web. I know it’s a weird pose, but I like it. I’m going to be 21 on the 26th, if you’re wondering.

Well it’s been a while sense my last post, but I’m back and have two new works to share:
This was done for my sculpture class. It was designed and cast by me. It’s made from pewter and was cast using a plaster mold that I carved into to. As you can tell it is slightly smaller than my left palm, and I have fairly large hands. This was made back in May.
Done for one of my real life best friends, as a thank you for capturing my 2,000 kiriban (page view) on Deviantart. Her pets Barbie the dog and Indy the cat. Barbie is a Sheltie, just so you know. I’ve seen them play like this many times before.
Note: Firefox washes out my colors, I recommend using Safari or IE to view my images. If you don’t have either, you can save them to your hard drive.

This is Redflash, a new character, although she was not originally mine. I “adopted” her from an online acquaintance. I’m using this picture as a paperdoll, meaning that this is for me to try out different outfits and accessories with out having to draw a new picture every time, I’ll just draw over top of the image in Photoshop. I just threw in a background, for the heck of it. I may shade it later just for fun.

I called him, Rocket! This is a mock up graphic novel cover, that I did for fun as a graphic design experiment, inspired by Case Closed and my love for animals.
Sleuth is another word for a detective for those who don’t know. A sleuthhound is a dog used for tracking or pursuing. Rocket is both. Rocket accompanies his P.I. owner on cases and leads him to the clues, helping to unravel the criminal mind and apprehend offenders of the law. From murder to missing cats, he is on the case! He is one gifted dog!

My latest work, I used this as one of my Photoshop assignments for my Computer Art class. My teacher was pleased with it. Now you can see were my banner image came from. So to start things off I’m going to share a few sketches that were done in the last two months. Click the image to enlarge.
I sketched this around Valentine’s Day. It’s a quick compositional sketch, it is not supposed to be that anatomically accurate. The two people are Jimmy (Shinichi) and Rachel (I think it’s, Rae or Ran ) from an anime/manga titled Case Closed.
Done during Computer Art class, but was not one I used as an assignment. But, I am working on coloring it and will most likely have it finished some time next week. Inspired by Case Closed and my love for animals.
Done in my Computer Art class. I was just warming up with my tablet at the beginning of class. It is supposed to be a lion. Done from memory.
Haha yeah I like to sketch in color. These were all done using Photoshop and my Graphire 4 Wacom tablet.
